Když ubývají přírodní zdroje, začíná boj o život. Nejhorší sucho za posledních čtyřicet let rozdmýchalo na severu Keni dlouho uspaný konflikt mezi původním obyvatelstvem a potomstvem britských kolonialistů.

Kmen Samburu se snaží zachránit svá stáda, která jsou jejich jediným zdrojem obživy, a proto je nechává pást i na zakázaných územích soukromých farem a rezervací. Na druhé straně rodina s britskými kořeny chrání svůj majetek a vzácnou přírodu. Oblast Laikipia je domovem obou – pastevecké komunity i čtvrté generace bílých Keňanů. Teď se ovšem tento ráj stává bitevním polem. Staré, ale hluboké rány mezi dvěma skupinami otevřely dopady klimatické změny.

When natural resources are depleted, the struggle for survival begins. The worst drought in forty years has reignited a long-dormant conflict in northern Kenya between the indigenous population and the descendants of British colonialists.

The Samburu tribe is trying to save their herds, which are their only source of livelihood, and therefore they let them graze even on forbidden areas of private farms and reserves. On the other hand, a family with British roots is protecting their property and precious nature. The Laikipia area is home to both a pastoral community and a fourth-generation white Kenyan. But now this paradise is becoming a battlefield. The effects of climate change have opened old but deep wounds between the two groups.
